2021 Synapsis Summer Program

We're so excited to announce the second annual Synapsis Summer Program running from July 9 to July 30! All proceeds and donations will go to Children's Mental Health Network, and the program curriculum will again focus heavily on biomedical learning and will emphasize methods of diagnosis, diseases, organ systems, and careers in medicine. Some sessions will also include guest speakers from acclaimed universities and companies!

The program will have 2 divisions. Each will have their own lessons, discussions, activities, and more. Here is the program schedule:

Rising Grades 4-6: July 9-30

Fri 2:00 - 3:30 PM PST

Grades 4-9 in the Fall '21

Rising Grades 7-9: July 9-30

Fri 2:00 - 3:30 PM PST

Grades 6-9 in the Fall '21

Grades 4-6 will cover:

• Central Dogma of Genetics

• Heart + Guest Speaker

• Nervous System

• Immunology + Guest Speaker

Grades 7-9 will cover:

• Genetics

• Natural selection

• Photosynthesis & cellular respiration

• Biology of superheroes + Guest Speaker
